Springfield Air Rendezvous is an affordable family-oriented weekend of entertainment providing fun and excitement for folks of all ages. The 2006 Springfield Air Rendezvous will be held at Abraham Lincoln Capital Airport and will feature the US Jet Aerobatic Team as well as many other outstanding civilian and military performers.
Other weekend activities will include the Famous Friday Night Hanger Party with a beautiful night air show and featured Family Viewing Area. Hanger Parties will be on Friday June 23 & Saturday June 24 from 7 to midnight at 1st Class Air's Hangar Two. Don't forget to mark your calendar for our PreVous Party downtown on Washington Street on May 26th from 7 to midnight featuring local rock bands. We invite you to participate this year by purchasing one of the best seats on the airfield. Whether you are a small business owner or an air show fan that wishes to see every bit of the action up close and personal, the Flight Line Chalet is exactly what you are looking for.
The Flight Line Chalet is a private tented area situated directly on the Flight Line within the famous Chalet Row that includes front row viewing. Your tickets to the Flight Line Chalet include VIP Parking, a buffet luncheon and two beverages of your choice. Additional beverages are available for purchase within this private area. Seating is limited so please be sure to order your tickets early. All these amenities for only $35.

Springfield Air Rendezvous is a not-for-profit event produced by an all-volunteer Board of Directors and many other volunteer groups and individuals throughout the community. Proceeds above operational expenses from this event benefit local charities. Hundreds of thousands of dollars has been donated to not-for-profits and local charities throughout the history of this event. All food, beverage and souvenir booths are staffed by not-for-profit groups and do benefit from their sales. Each year, SAR sponsors several Aviation Scholarship Funds at LLCC.
