Springfield Air Rendezvous will host its 24th annual air show on June 24 & 25, 2006 featuring the US Jet Team, a civilian jet team. Additional world famous performers will be on hand to provide thrills and chills.
Now you may ask, "Where is the best seat to view this exciting entertainment?" Of course, in Chalet Row! Your private, brightly colored tent provides your guests an area to enjoy the air show and to have a spectacular front row view of each and every exciting moment. VIP parking completes the package with a short walk from the car to your viewing area. Chalet Row provides an opportunity for your business to share valuable hospitality with your biggest clients and customers and/or your extremely important employees. Many businesses are saying that this is the perfect company outing.
SAR 2006 will surely have something for everyone. Highlights of this year's show will include but not be limited to the US JET TEAM, military aircraft flown by civilian pilots, a military parachute team, a wild solo performer flying a highly aerobatic aircraft called an Edge, lots of formation teams that will include a three aircraft, a four aircraft and a twenty aircraft formation team! Participation of military aircraft will be announced approximately 60 days prior to the event but we are confident even with world affairs that military demonstrations will be a part of this year's event. SAR has requested demonstrations from every branch of service including our own 183rd Fighter Wing in their F-16s. We are also adding some fun on the ground with an area set up to showcase Central Illinois talent and a Dodgeball Tournament!
Your involvement will include being a special part of the activities both in the air and on the ground. Your continued support of Air Rendezvous, a 501(c)3 not for profit organization, is greatly appreciated. This very affordable, family oriented event is both fun and entertaining as well as beneficial to our community. SAR has donated in excess of $750,000.00 to our local community in the form of charitable donations and aviation scholarships. Please help support this event that supports our community!

May 26th 13th Annual PreVous Party held downtown on Washington Street from 7 to 9.
June 23 & 24, Friday Night Hangar Party and Night Air Show kicking off the air show weekend on June 23rd at Hangar Two, 1st Class Air, Saturday Night Hangar Party with no night show but two great local bands.
